The Pre-licensing course can be taken in the classroom or via virtual classroom or distance learning. If you decide to enroll in the classroom version you will receive an MV-278 Pre-licensing Certificate of Completion. No matter which version you select to enroll in, all courses use the same curriculum. Once you successfully complete your course, the provider will report your achievement to the DMV automatically and you won't have to present the certificate at the time of taking the driver's test.
