What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader is an additional widget to the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. The Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no gaming benefit other than making it easier to see and buy upgrades.

Boosters

With an upgrader for your item, you can get a number of bonuses. They could include a variety of stats, as well as many additional bonuses. These bonuses can be incorporated into weapons or armor, as well as trinkets. They can be used to enhance the abilities of a character, or they can add an additional element of variety to an existing build.

The World of Warcraft upgrade system allows players to upgrade their equipment by paying currency at an upgrader for their item. The amount of extras that you gain by upgrading is contingent on the amount of upgrades completed. Each upgrade will increase the corresponding extras by increments of 1, up to a maximum of three. Each upgrade will also increase the main stats by +1.

Some upgrades also give you additional random boosts in addition to stat boosts. These boosts can be extremely valuable and must be considered when deciding on which items to upgrade. Certain boosts can only be used in specific builds (such the Whistan's Shield in FB Sorcs), while others are useful to collectors.

Some items have an inherent boo that is less effective when upgraded, like the Goldwrap that gives you additional slots for potion. These are often upgraded to add more value to a nearly perfect item upgrade.

Costs

There are a few costs associated with item upgrades. The first is the cost of performing the upgrade. The cost for this upgrade can be costly and is dependent on the new ilvl of the item and the number perks it gains. It is also costly to upgrade an item to a better tier (such as Explorer > Champion or Veteran > Heroic).

The second is the price of the materials needed for an upgrade. These are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons or a specific Mists Of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor Quests. These materials are available in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.

The process of upgrading an item is a complex process that takes time. Based on the magnitude of the upgrade, it can take as long as 8 hours. The stats that are the base of the upgraded item are calculated based upon its new ilvl as well as other properties. This calculation determines new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, and other important statistics. In some cases an upgrade may grant additional perks. These perks are offered on a list.

Rarely, the new perks acquired will cost more than one perk slot In these cases the upgrade will replace the highest-cost perks. Occasionally, the upgrader will make other changes to an item, such as changing the damage type of a weapon or or removing an operative or unwieldy property. The cost of these changes is based on the new ilvl of the item, and it may require a special material, such as an adamantine alloy.

Success Rate

The basis for upgrading items is a chance, and like every random system, there's an opportunity that the upgrade will fail. However there are some things which can improve the odds of success. This includes using an Upgrade Pity or adding additional materials to your upgrade.

An Upgrade Pity is a product you can purchase from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the odds of a successful upgrade by a certain percentage. It is similar to the luck bonus certain items offer but is more reliable. It can be added to any armor or weapon and is able to be used up to three times.

You can also add other materials to the upgrade to increase the chance of success. These materials are displayed in a window above the + button. There are some limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is shown directly above the + button.

Another way to increase the chances of an upgrade achieving success is to use the item known as a Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is useful when your piece of equipment or weapon is close to or has reached the highest level of its level. It allows you to upgrade that piece of equipment to the next level without having to worry about it breaking.

If an upgrade is unsuccessful it will be restored to its original state. This is usually a downgrade, but could also be an upgrade. It is recommended to save an upgrade for when you're near the maximum level of an item, and then use it as a last resort.

There are several items in the Kafra shop that can be used to improve the odds of a successful upgrade. You can boost your chances of success by enhancing your equipment several times using HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. Similarly, enhancing the chance to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will improve the chances of success.

Failure Rate

The item upgrade upgrader allows players to add an additional slot in their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enhancement or enchantment to an item. It is important to note that not all items can be upgraded. The rank of an item determines the rate at which it can be upgraded and enhanced. The higher the rank of an item is, the more Zeny items are required to upgrade it.

The upgrade window will display a percent indication of your chance of success. This percentage is determined by the upgrade level of the item and the core kind you have selected.

You can also choose a safeguard that will protect your item in the event of failure. This protection is not free however the cost will be lower than a new item. The safeguard is only available once each upgrade, and it will not expire unless it is re-used.

The UI for the item upgrader may be a bit confusing, but it is not difficult to navigate. The main menu is displayed on the left and the upgrade window appears on the right.
